I started personal training with one goal in mind: to help my clients build a healthy relationship with fitness. For me, this means creating a balanced and active routine that excites you to come back for more while keeping you healthy enough to sustain it long-term.

Whether you are wanting to improve your physique, athletic performance, or injury prevention- I’m here to help you reach your goals in an enjoyable setting. Regardless of your age or fitness experience, I’d love to help you get strong, move better and feel confident inside and outside of the gym.

My training approach begins with a comprehensive fitness assessment to understand your body's unique movement patterns and specific needs. With this data, I design a customized program that aligns with your goals, your body’s needs, and your daily life. Since everyone’s body is different, each program is personalized. It’s extremely important to me that you have a program that fulfills both personal wants and needs. If you need flexibility work but also want to learn barbell lifts (my favorite!), we’ll find a balance and incorporate both. I’m here to help you learn and grow as much as possible. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My coaching style is playful, direct, and empathetic. I will help you meet your goals by:

1. Helping you understand the intention behind each workout, and

2. Giving you the push and motivation you need to tackle even the hard things

My own fitness journey took a non-traditional route. During middle and high school, living an active lifestyle was not my priority. I didn’t find joy in running, sports, swimming- you name it. I even failed PE twice. In college, I surprisingly found myself drawn to weightlifting simply because it looked so empowering.

However, wanting to try weightlifting and actually doing it were two different things. I spent a long time in the gym feeling unsure, not knowing what to do, and not taking up the space I deserved. Over time, my confidence grew simply because I kept showing up, but the journey was challenging. Because of this, I love training beginners. I want my clients to have the easiest transition to an active lifestyle. I want them to leave each session feeling more confident in their movements, minds and bodies, and overall more confident in their lives.

TESTIMONIALS.

Christina is a great trainer! I've been training with her for the past few months with the goal of injury prevention and building muscle. I feel like I've made a lot of progress, my form has improved and I'm seeing great results. She's also very friendly and personable! It's always a positive experience training with her. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience with Christina. She helped me target areas I struggled with by myself for years. It started with an assessment to find out where my body was then we went into my ideals and goals rather than following a standard plan. This experience felt tailor made and encouraged me to complete and finish the fitness journey. As a coach she is very thorough in explaining the reasons and values of each workout, this was a big plus for me since I am more receptive to things I understand. After our sessions I held on to the knowledge she imparted to me and continue to utilize it today. It was an overall fantastic experience and one that I highly recommend, especially if you are new to the gym world.

I used to work out on a regular basis, but then had kids, got busier with work, and all of a sudden I was in my 40’s and needed to get back on track with structured workouts. I tried working out with a personal trainer a few years ago, as I need the accountability of showing up at a specific time (having a gym membership won't work for me - I'll just never go). That trainer was a terrible fit and it turned me off from the idea so I relied only on walks around my neighborhood and an exercise bike. Now, in my late-ish 40’s, I really need some guidance around exercise, and thankfully I found Christina! Christina tailors my workouts to meet my skill level, while also introducing a challenge (she's figured out that I'm a competitive person so this works for me). She's also very sensitive to any of my "old lady" aches and pains, as well as prior injuries, and customizes workouts accordingly. In the months I've been working out with Christina I've seen my endurance and strength increase tremendously.
