Stephanie is a NASM certified personal trainer with a love of fitness and movement. Growing up in a small Virginia town, she studied 15 years of classical ballet, jazz and hip hop where her affinity for music and expression came to life. Relocating to Tucson, Arizona she achieved her BA in Media Arts with an emphasis on Producing from the University of Arizona and continued westward to settle in San Francisco. After working in advertising for three years, stress led to chronic illness and a renewed perspective. It was time to pursue what mattered most; a healthy lifestyle and career.
Teaching Pilates, Barre, and TRX have complemented her skills in strength through joint stability, which cultivated a personal passion for yoga and CrossFit, completing a 200HR CYT in 2014, as well as CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate in 2016. Stephanie has been dedicated to overseeing and creating new programming for Pilates ProWorks, specifically matBox, a new fight-training hybrid fitness method that launched internationally in 2015. Training teams around the world set in motion her current business Get Hungry SF, designed to provide premier fitness training at DIAKADI Body in SOMA, as well as group fitness instructor training workshops and courses to support industry professionals.
