ONE ON ONE SESSIONS >> DIAKADI offers a wide selection of independent trainers, each with their own unique training style and fitness background. Private sessions vary in time with partner and small group trainings available at the discretion of the trainer. Each trainer will provide you with a fitness assessment before your first session in order to design the appropriate fitness program based on both your goals and your body’s needs.
PROGRAM DESIGN >> Let a DIAKADI trainer take you through a full body assessment including testing for functional and structural imbalances, postural deviations, muscle strength, flexibility, and coordination. Then based on this assessment, as well as your goals and health history, your trainer will design an individualized 6 week workout program for you, teaching you your program as well as your lifestyle alterations over 2 one hour teaching sessions. You will walk away with a fully documented program (including pictures and/or videos of each exercise) which you can follow for the next 6 weeks.
PILATES >> Study the method of Pilates with one of our DIAKADI instructors. Pilates instruction will focus on the following principles: proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement. Beginner to advance level instruction is offered. Sessions consist of mat work and the use of a Reformer, Wunda chair, and Pilates circles.
YOGA >> We provide one-on-one, duo and group sessions with instructors that allow clients to focus on self-awareness, physical movement, breathing and meditation. Styles of sessions vary from Hatha and Power Flow to Ansuara and Iyengar to Ashtanga Vinayasa and Thai Massage Yoga. Session lengths and pricing plans will be devloped based upon your goals.
NUTRITION + FUEL >> Exercise and movement is a small part of healthy living and we want to help clients from all aspects. That is why we have a group of DIAKADI Trainers that also address nutritional needs. With their nutritional degrees and holistic coaching certifications, our trainers will assist you in your goal of eating right.
PHYSICAL THERAPY + BODYWORK.
PHYSICAL THERAPY >> DIAKADI’s in-house Physical Therapists offer a variety of diagnostic and treatment services including sports specific movement analysis, treatment of movement impairment syndromes, traumatology, post-surgery rehabilitation, injury rehab, active release and muscle testing. They will develop fitness and wellness oriented programs which address prevention and treatment to support you in a healthier and more active lifestyles.
BODYWORK >> Rebuilding, re-energizing and recovery is a crucial part to optimal health. At DIAKADI our trainers and practitioners will assist in bodywork by performing detailed assessments including testing for functional and structural imbalances, postural deviations, muscle strength, flexibility, and coordination. Then based on this assessment, as well as your goals and health history, your trainer will steer you in the direction with stretches, mobilizations and exercises.
Other bodywork and healing traditions include structural integration, myofascial release, cranial-sacral therapy, source point therapy and visceral manipulation. Our practitioners believe in treating each patient with a comprehensive strategy that may include postural and/or movement assessments, deep tissue massage, gentle joint mobilization, stretching and physical education.
TRAIN IN YOUR HOME >> DIAKADI in-home training programs allow you to experience a one-on-one personal training session at your home or location of your choice. Personal training sessions are scheduled at times that are convenient for you, when you can be free of distraction, and when you feel that you can be at your best for your workout. We’ll provide the trainer options, fitness program, select equipment and motivation to get you started!
TRAVELING TO SF >> In 2006, DIAKADI created a new hospitality initiative for the top San Francisco hotels. Our personal trainers, instructors, or therapists will travel to hotels for assessments and training clients with individualized fitness and wellness programs. Our practitioners will design specialized exercise programs ANYWHERE, indoors or out, specific to each client’s goals.
