Sara's philosophy as a trainer has been shaped by her experience in the ballet world: the demands of consistent practice, the frustration of injuries, and most importantly, the joy of movement. She is dedicated to helping all of her clients achieve their fitness goals – while encouraging injury prevention and long-term quality of life. Her goal is for her clients to enjoy exercise and be able to do so for their whole lives. When you love to move, weight loss happens!
Sara is certified in a variety of modalities in addition to Personal Training, including Yoga, Pre/Post Natal Training, Pilates Mat, TRX Suspension Training, Kettlebells, Vitality Integration Performance Reconditioning (Vipr), as well as Group Exercise. She has worked as a trainer and group exercise instructor for over 8 years.
Sara also has a background in teaching and uses her teaching skills in her personal training sessions, making sure all of her clients understand not only how to perform exercises correctly, but why it is important to do so. Sara also moonlights in local theatrical productions as a dancer and singer, and her skills as an entertainer come in almost as handy as her skills as an educator during grueling training sessions. Whether with laughter or patience, Sara is committed to helping her clients harness the power of exercise to lead richer, happier lives.
