KYLE’s BIO.

HE/HIM/HIs

I’ve always had a passion for helping people, which I express through personal training. My first experience coaching was shortly after high school, when I became the head JV football coach at Acalanes High. I quickly learned that I have a passion for helping people perform better. There’s nothing better than seeing someone become stronger and more confident, achieve their first ever pushup, fit into their old jeans, run a marathon, or be able to play with their kids without limitation.

Before I made fitness a big part of my life and career, I used to struggle with my own weight. I was 275 pounds and dealing with chronic pain, especially in my lower back, ankles and knees. I had very low self esteem and wouldn’t dare take my shirt off at the beach or pool. Working out consistently and taking control over my health was very empowering for me, and I discovered that fitness was more than a hobby — I wanted to share my knowledge and experience and enable others to change their lives too. After becoming a Certified Personal Trainer in 2014 and working in fitness management at a big box gym, I opened my own fitness studio - StudioFlex - in Downtown Pleasant Hill, CA. Seven years later, we have a team of five coaches and have been featured on KTVU News and been voted Best of the Bay by Diablo Magazine. Since opening StudioFlex, I’ve had extensive experience as a Group Fitness instructor through my work at Barry’s in San Francisco. At Barry’s I’ve coached thousands of members over the years at a wide-range of ability levels, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching charity classes for Aids LifeCycle and The Trevor Project.

My training approach is simple, flexible, and based on the most relevant and current scientific knowledge. Programs will be customized for you and you, only. Everyone is different with unique goals and needs. As a coach I believe in the power of teamwork and accountability. Together we will work towards achieving all of your health, fitness and life goals.

TESTIMONIALS.

Kyle is an exceptional trainer. He is enthusiastic and focused. He makes working out fun! Lifting weights and exercise have been important to me since high school though I have never achieved the results I desired for all the effort and precious time I invested in it. Kyle is always high fiving me or patting me on the back or verbally acknowledging my small achievements which seemed silly at first, thought he is achieving real results with me through utilizing proper form and technique, suggesting changes to my cardio exercise and diet. He is also very understanding of where you're at, your issues and goals and how to adapt an exercise to your particular needs including people with injuries and conditions. He is a very nonjudgmental accepting individual who is remarkably mature for his young age. I feel very comfortable with him, love to talk to him and joke around as well. I look forward to working out with him each time, though it can be hard work.

I would like to take a moment and recommend Kyle Gee who is a professional and dedicated personal trainer. Having worked with a number of different trainers whose approaches and philosophies of fitness have varied widely, I have been quite impressed with the training I have received from Kyle Gee. I started personal training sessions with Kyle weighing in at 26% body fat. As a 34 year old male with summer coming my goal was to shred those pounds fast. Kyle not only helped me achieve my goal but he educated me along the way too. I am grateful that I am able to train with Kyle. I have dropped 6% points in 4 months and I feel the best I have ever felt while working with a trainer. If you are like me and have been from trainer to trainer just to be disappointed because you are not seeing results or your trainer doesn't keep you motivated then I urge you to contact Kyle and start training with him today. I highly recommend Kyle Gee.

I can't say enough good things about training with Kyle. My husband and I signed up last August for partner training with Kyle, and we do all our sessions together. To say this is ideal for us would be an understatement! We get one-on-one sessions with Kyle in a private environment, and he customizes our program to our goals, deftly working around any conditions we might have. It's been an incredibly fun thing for us to do together. We find that we're so energized by our sessions, and Kyle is SO fun to be around, that we really look forward to our workouts. For my husband, it's been more motivating than anything he's ever done at home or at a traditional gym. And while I'm able to motivate to work out at home, the results I'm getting from training on top-notch equipment under Kyle's expertise is something I'd never, ever get from digital classes. If you're on the fence, honestly, go for it!
