Joe’s BIO.

He/Him/His

Prior to entering the fitness industry Joe spent five years in finance, but he always felt his strongest and most confident in the gym or on his yoga mat. Refusing to live a life he was no longer passionate about, he risked everything, uprooted his life from Boston, and moved to San Francisco to change the narrative. 

His official personal training career began at Equinox Sports Club in 2015, but his training knowledge and skills were amplified through his mentorship with DIAKADI. Joe coaches and educates his clients that exercise is just the tip of the iceberg as his training style and philosophy incorporates a holistic perspective of movement, mindfulness and nutrition in order to help others understand their own unique bodies and realize their ideal lifestyle. 

An avid learner, Joe always considers himself a student first, on a never-ending quest for knowledge. It’s not about being the best, but knowing the best methods. As a postural specialist, Joe understands how abdominal dysfunction contributes to low-back and neck pain. He's also aware of how improperly training muscles can lead to postural dysfunction. He continues to invest in various continuing education courses focused on program design and exercise technique to further customize and tailor his programs to each client’s needs.

Joe is Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, PN Level 1 Certified through Precision Nutrition as well as a 200-Hour Registered Vinyasa Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. In addition to personal training, Joe is also a group fitness instructor having taught at the Assembly, Love Story Yoga, Orangetheory Fitness, Wheel House, and Rogue & Saint Fitness.  He is the embodiment of a true fitness professional using his business acumen to transform his passion for health, nutrition, and fitness into an entrepreneurial venture.

Joe is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer. He pushes me to do more than I ever thought I could accomplish. His workouts are unique and provide training I would not be able to do on my own.
