Lunges are a movement that most of us perform several times a day as we walk up stairs or kneel down to pick up something. So knowing how to perform lunges safely, in alignment, and using the correct muscles, is important for maintaining your muscle function and for keeping your hips, knees and ankles pain free as well as injury free.
