BIO. 

Allan Mateo is an independent personal trainer with over twelve years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He holds a BS in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of San Francisco and an MS in Human Movement from ATSU. He is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach from the NSCA.  

As a Fitness Professional, he is committed to helping people realize their potential; changing lives one day and one person at a time. He prides himself on implementing training programs that promote not only the benefits of exercise and physical activity, but also ensuring that their safety and well being are at the heart of his program design. Although this is a results’ driven profession, He still believes that a high standard of professionalism and customer service play a vital role to the longevity of a fitness professional’s career. He also believes that in order to further his knowledge base, continual education is essential to professional growth, regarding relevant and applied theories of practice. To better serve his clients, he will always strive to utilize the most practical and up to date evidence-based research to aid in the assessment, and design of their training programs.

In his spare time, Allan still competes in Olympic Weightlifting competitions. His most recent competition was the PWA Masters Weightlifting meet where he placed 2nd in his weight class, and at 35 He’s still going. Allan also enjoys spending quality time outdoors with his wife of 9 years, and his 3-year-old son.
