Throughout my life, I have had a passion for movement and health and the wonderful results it offers:

  • A higher level of fitness
  • Improved performance in sports and athletic activities
  •  A leaner, more toned body
  • More flexible body that moves with power and grace
  • A body that feels better, works better and looks better

I am dedicated to my clients’ and the goals they want to achieve. Together we chart a course for their training program incorporating all of the tolls for success that I provide. With my holistic approach as the foundation nutrition is a key component of the program.

It all starts with a free one-hour consultation where we explore your goals, your work schedule, fitness routine and lifestyle constraints. Then I develop a wellness plan customized for you, your lifestyle and current fitness level.  As we begin our work together, I’ll be supporting your regime with nutritional education, lifestyle suggestions and motivation!

Born in Canada, my study and love of movement began as a figure skater in the 1970's and has evolved over the years through my training in yoga, martial arts, and Pilates.

I began practicing yoga in Canada and continued in California for over 15 years. Breath, flow, flexibility, strength, balance, clarity -- I am passionate about yoga and all that it offers! I obtained my teaching certification (500 hour) with James Burkhardt at SomaYoga in San Francisco in 2005.

Another love, Pilates is an amazing practice of concentrating, centering, and control, (and flow, balance and breath). I love how effective Pilates can be in building strong core muscles, reconditioning and conditioning back muscles, and building longer, leaner muscles all over. I became a Certified Pilates Mat instructor through ITT Pilates in 2004 in San Francisco.

I hold a black belt in Kyokushin karate and a brown belt Shorin Ryu/Shudokan karate. Boxing and kickboxing are an endorphin-high for me and bring some kick-butt cardio intervals into my training sessions.

Rounding out my training, in 2005 I completed the industry’s most highly recognized personal training certification and am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Continuing education is a big part of my life and it has added enhanced specialty to the above list. Additional certifications include: Pilates for Athletes (ITT Pilates). Integrative Neurosomatic Therapy. Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM), Yoga for Pain Management.
